Shibuya and Shinjuku, Tokyo

Leh and I rode the Hanzomon Line across town to Omote-Sando; there are a bunch of new subway lines that have gone into operation since we lived here a decade ago, and I find I'm kind of out of practice - there are always about half a dozen ways to get from A to B, and if you don't know the best way to do it, you can spend more money and time than you need to. A guess it's a bit of a tourist tax...

For people looking for status and quality, together with a convenient compact size and excellent fuel economy, Mercedes-Benz offers its A-series cars.
The Tokyo Riding Club near Shinjuku
It's not really 'on wheels', but we happened across the Tokyo Riding Club after wandering through Meiji Jingu with Rumi's old friend Hide, who's back here after many years in France. Kind of funny seeing horses in the middle of this incredibly concentrated urban centre...

I guess people who can afford to ride horses here can also afford to drive Bentleys...
